“The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”
-Robert Burns
Life sometimes interferes with our "best laid plan" especially when pets are involved. On occasion we will highlight a GP that has come across our path and needs a new forever home.

Laguna
My name is Laguna. I am looking for a forever home. My name in the Basque language means “companion”. Since my breed is from the Pyrenees Mountains between Spain and France, which is the Basque country, my owners gave me a Basque name. I am 15 weeks old and weigh about 34 pounds. My owners are both over 70, and I have too much energy for them to handle me. I love all dogs and people that I meet. I am almost house trained, and I walk fine on a leash. I don’t like the crate very much, but am getting better when I am in it. I am up to date with all my shots and in excellent health. I would like a home with another dog and children to play with. There is a re-homing fee to the lucky person that takes me home, but I am worth it!
Found her forever home October 2018!
Pepper
Pepper
Princess Pepper is our 5 year old, all white, retired mama. She was born on-site and has been with our kids since the beginning. She is great on leash, is not a digger nor a jumper, and thinks she is still a lap dog. She just weighed in at 98.6 pounds. She enjoys being indoors and outdoors and is ready for adventures. Although she does well with smaller females and is spayed, Pepper would do best as the only female.
We love Pepper! She has a place here at Sunny Ridge for as long as she needs. However, we are open to find a family that would give Pepper the love she deserves and shower her with attention. You’ll be welcoming a life-long loyal companion in Pepper.
